Student Placement
Capital Medical Center recognizes the importance of student placement in its facility so that clinical and allied health students gain valuable real-life experiences in the healthcare setting. We also hope it provides opportunities for future employment.
Higher education institutions who wish to place students at Capital Medical Center must have an affiliation agreement with the facility. For that reason, the first point of contact for seeking clinical placement opportunities must come from the respective program representatives and not the individual students.
For physician residents and students whose profession requires credentialling for practice (e.g., medical, PA, APRN students), Please contact Lazette Wiley at Lazette.wiley@capitalmedical.com
For nursing and all other related allied health students to include pre-licensure, pre-certification and post graduate work please note that Capital Medical Center is a member of Clinical Placements North West (CPNW) consortium and aligns with their student boarding process for clinical placement. Please go to www.cpnw.org for further information or contact CAMC.StudentPlacement@capitalmedical.com
