Smoking is the number one cause of preventable deaths and illnesses in this country.
As a part of our commitment to building a healthier community for our patients, visitors, employees and guests, our hospital campus is smoke-free. This means that smoking is not permitted on Capital Medical Center property, owned or leased, including parking lots.
DESIGNATED SMOKING AREAS
An area has been designed on the west side of the hospital, along the sidewalk on McPhee Road SW, with a cigarette butt receptacle. (See map below.) It is permissible to smoke on any sidewalk surrounding the hospital campus.
