Call 360-754-3715Urinary incontinence is defined as involuntary leakage of urine or loss of bladder control. Often the result of weakness, lack of proper muscle control/ cordination, and even postural problems, incontinence can significantly impact a person’s ability to do routine activity.
Physical therapy can play an important role in the treatment of stress and urge incontinence. It can be the result of a variety of conditions, such as:
- Pregnancy/vaginal birth
- Hysterectomy
- Neurological Diseases
- Prostate disease/Surgery
- Bladder/rectal prolapse
