Visitors can be good medicine for patients. Family members and friends are welcome to visit. However, patient care is our primary concern at Capital Medical Center, and in order to enhance the quality of care, specific visiting hours and regulations have been established for each unit.
General visiting hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Due to patient privacy requirements, any information about a patient’s diagnosis or treatment must come directly from the patient to concerned family members or friends. No information will be given out by our telephone operators or nursing personnel.
VISITOR GATHERING AREAS
There are specially-designated lounge areas for visitors on each patient floor and on the main floor in the lobby. Specific waiting areas have been designated for families of patients in the critical care units, the Emergency Department, Surgery and Outpatient Registration.
Capital Medical Center offers guest wireless internet service in all areas of the hospital, including the cafeteria, waiting areas and patient rooms.

Most patient rooms cannot be direct dialed. To reach a patient by phone, please call the hospital at 360-754-5858 or toll-free at 1-888-677-9757.
You will need to provide the first and last name of patient you are trying to contact.

We are happy to deliver messages from friends or family to patients at Capital Medical Center.
Please be aware that because these messages are printed on paper and then hand-delivered to patients, we cannot guarantee privacy. We highly recommend that you not communicate any information that is confidential or private in nature through this message service.
Messages will be delivered Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Depending on when a message is received, it may be delivered the following business day.
